We definitely needed some new numbers… and by new, I mean we needed them. As I was perusing Pinterest (side note: you can assume 75% of my inspiration for everything comes from Pinterest, what did we do without it??) this modern take on numbers caught my eye.  click the pic to see the tutorial from A Beautiful Mess

 So, I built a box, got the greens, and after scouring every store in Fargo for letters, I came up with this:

Yuck. You could see the numbers from Moorhead, which my parents gleefully countered with “well now all the older people cruising your street can see them.” Not really the point I was going for….

So we switched them out for some sleeker (and yes, slightly harder to see) numbers that go more with our style. So far, a good update:)
